introvertedextrovert asked: Interesting, can you explain more? Isn't she a shaman? I think I remember you saying that.
Yea she’s a shaman. She’s all about the “ecstatic divine” as she calls it. She works with a higher power, and for her it’s more of a general idea of basic decent principles ( don’t kill people, try to help if it feels right, etc). My personal spiritual expression jives more with Faeryland or otherworld and Earth energies. I think she thinks that working with faeries means I get limited and messages about their purpose when it should be more freeform. That’s not really how I see it though.

introvertedextrovert asked: That sounds really cool, you should definitely show me!
I will! I think my mom has issue with my spiritual work :P not a lot, and he takes a non-interventional role in the universe, but I think she thinks I have too much attached to the world I work with

It takes perfect people to have a perfect love. But we, imperfect as we all are, may have many loves- each one perfect for who we are and for what we need now. These loves may not feel perfect, they may not look perfect from the outside, but they fit us now. If we don’t like them then we need to change ourselves so that a different kind of perfection fits us

introvertedextrovert asked: What's a Faerie Oracle deck?
Well oracle decks are kinda like Tarot Decks, just less rigid and often more about connecting with the energy of a god or goddess, or in this case faeries. I can show it to you sometime, it’s really beautiful

When have I last looked on
The round green eyes and the long wavering bodies
Of the dark leopards of the moon?
All the wild witches, those most noble ladies,
For all their broom-sticks and their tears,
Their angry tears, are gone.Well that’s all well and good but who did the art tho

Have you ever noticed how awkward I am, and how I shouldn’t be allowed to interact with unsuspecting citizens (or non-citizens)?

La Vie Boheme: "Well, if it wasn't for white people, we wouldn't have (insert some type of innovation here)."
Nope, crackers. You can’t have it both ways. You can’t take credit for what your ancestors have done in the past and also reject responsibility for all the shitty stuff. If you want…
really the only thing I can contribute to this is that though you can’t oppress white people, it is still a little hurtful to those of us who are aware of a lot of our own white privilege and are trying to work against a racist system. Obviously I’m not going to change people’s minds, but I don’t think the way to beat anything is through more hate. Just my feelings.
